The hubby's company has this ridiculous health program that requires you to earn "points" to prevent a rate increase. It's creepy, invasive, and feels a lot like blackmail. However, since that $70/month can be better spent, we jump through the hoops.

The only brightish spot in all of this madness is that the "points" can be redeemed for stuff. Now, most reward shops are full of schlocky junk, but this program actually has an impressive array of name brand, high dollar items on their site. Last year we redeemed our points for a Shark floor steamer thereby removing all nasty chemicals from the process of cleaning the kitchen floors.

This year, we had enough points to qualify for the "Platinum" status which gave our points more purchasing power. We had been thinking of replacing our nonstick cookware with stainless steel since our current set's nonstick coating is beginning to flake off into the food...no bueno. So we checked out their selection and picked a set from Calphalon. We've had it for almost 2 weeks now and we are loving it. It heats much faster than the nonstick and it's pretty. : )

It almost (almost) makes the blood draw worth it.
