Woot!

Ya'll, I received my letter from the board yesterday. Opening it up terrified me. It was a little envelope. But a fat one. So...a letter saying I passed and info on how to formally register? Or a letter saying I failed and the breakdown of my performance?

My husband read it over my shoulder and grasped the meaning before I did. I kept rereading the first line over and over trying to make it make sense. Meanwhile he started cheering and hugging me. : ) Finally it sunk in...

I passed.

All my studying paid off. $25 and a bit more paperwork and I will officially be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama. I get to have a stamp and everything. I'm vacillating between grinning like an idiot and not quite believing it. : )

Thank you to each of you who has cheered me on along the way. Your support has been greatly appreciated and I promise to get back to blogging about things other than reading very thick books full of equations. ; )
