This little plaque was a gift from a friend who studied abroad in Wales. She thought the cute little red dragon reminded her of me. And I love having the reminder of her. On paper, we couldn't be more different--she's the carefree, heart on her sleeve, globetrotting type. A newly minted lawyer her passion is for helping others around the globe through international law. I'm the settled homebody type with much quieter adventures (think making jam vs riding elephants in India and you get the idea). But we've been friends since we were young (11 and 10) and we still get along like gangbusters whenever we get a chance to be together.
