Our siding is beginning to look a little worn and in need of painting. But despite our deck staining prowress, this is not a job I am eager to tackle. For one, the combination of a two story house and a sloped lot means that for about half of the house there are actually three stories to be painted (two stories of house and one of crawl space). For another, to be done right, it really needs to be cleaned, stripped down, primed, and repainted. And for a grand finale, the rainy season is about to be upon us, so if we are going to do it this year it needs to be, uh, yesterday.
