Most years I am pretty blase about the changing seasons--I love the blooming flowers of spring; the long, sunny days of summer; the colorful foliage and cool breezes of fall; and the festive parties and lights of winter. Last winter though. *shudders* January to April was an interminable cold, gray misery. And so, when the weather cooled last weekend I ignored it. When the humidity, an inseparable part of southern summers, left in favor of refreshing storms my reaction was tantamount to sticking my fingers in my ears and chanting "I can't hear you!". But today. Today my beloved trees betrayed me. I looked out the kitchen window and saw bits of brown. *sigh*

Day 346/365--Approaching Fall

I so don't want summer to end, but fall is very much here already.
