Ever wonder where your lost socks end up? Today I discovered exactly where. In the spare room. The hubby has been pulling laundry baskets in there to prevent the cats from napping in them. Which explains exactly why I have been increasingly unable to find small pieces of clothing. They are all in the spare room. (Along with a certain TV box which really needs to be broken down and thrown out. Any day now.)
I often put full laundry baskets in the bedroom closet for the same reason. Cat finds it anyway. Fur happens.
