Tonight, the hubby gave Abby a bath. This resulted in one very clean, if wet, cat and one very dirty, if wet, floor. Which would have been fine except for the fact that I happened to be wearing shoes with no treads. And I happened to walk onto the slipper slick just-recently-endowed-with-cat-hair floor. And well, walk really isn't the right word. Step, slip, and slow-motion fall is much more apt. Knocking about my knee, elbow, shoulder, and rump. The last two of those on the toilet paper holder. Which I brought down with me. I'm fine (just a bit bruised) but the toilet paper holder will have to be rehung with new anchors. Our first home accident repair.
