We normally keep the sunroom doors closed. It keeps the cats one layer further away from the big wide outside and our energy bill down. However, the doors don't close quite right (another one for the Fix It List) and lately Jack has been getting sneakier about wriggling his way in and taking a good look around. This morning, as I ran around packing my lunch and fixing breakfast, I looked over and saw Jack staring back at me through the internal window. A moment later, when I looked back, he and Abby were carefully watching each other through the window. It made me smile and really appreciate that little window. Forget how it opens up the house, it lets the cats enjoy the miracle of seeing that other cat "outside" without either of them leaving our cozy (and tick free!) house.

Day 296/365--Morning Mischief
