Today is 3/14, so that makes it Pi Day! As in 3.14 pi. Which naturally leads to celebrating with lots of tasty pies. I first learned of Pi Day in college from some friends and we started the tradition of going out for pie slices. After we moved away, the hubby and I have kept up the tradition by baking our own pies. This year, for the first time, we made a savory pie as well as a sweet. Chicken Pot Pies and Red Berry Pies. Oh happy day! I'll be posting the recipes this week. In the meantime, did anyone celebrate? If so, what did you do?

Do you need help making those pies diappear?
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly (surprising to me anyway) we've nearly polished them off. The last pot pies made a very tasty dinner tonight and the last Berry Pie has my name on it. : D I thought about bringing some to B&B, but they were too large to be a good group food. One of these weeks, I'll bake and bring something in. : )
