Way back in January we got a Wii. And, for January, I was excellent about working out! Then, life happened, I went on a week and a half business trip and never got back to it. Part of the gift had been a nifty charging station so that you didn't have to by stock in batteries to justify the purchase. Only the remotes came with batteries, so I figured we might as well run through those before setting it up, right? (You see where this is going, don't you?)
Fast forward to today, when I finally decided to get off my bum and actually do this exercise thing. And the darn batteries, after a month of use and a good two months of cooling their heels, were dead. Not entirely dead. But dead enough to make odd jerky motions on the screen that would NOT let me select anything.
You will notice that the charging station still isn't set up. I figured that working out was more important than wrastling with plastic packaging. But I did remove it from the closet and set it on my old desktop. Meanwhile? I dug out two new batteries for the remote. And worked out. Remembering why it's best not to go two months between workouts.
