My daily contribution to my year long "Around the House" photo project. 365 photos. Blogged here.
Today, we filled out our Census survey. For those not in the US,once every ten years, the government selects a wide swath of citizens to fill out a survey on who lives in their household. They ask ages, relationships, ethnicities, home ownership, etc. While the official (and original) purpose is to take a head count to determine Congressional representation, it also serves as a barometer of trends. Are more people living together without being married? How many kids are in the average household? Those sorts of things. The sample is large enough that they can confidently extrapolate out to the entire US population.
Anyway, today we filled out our survey. And today, we checked the box that said "Homeowners". (Okay it also said "With mortgage", but hey! We all start somewhere. : ) I think that counts as officially telling everyone that we bought a house.
