My daily contribution to my year long "Around the House" photo project. 365 photos. Blogged here.
When we first looked at the house, I looked at this shelf in the laundry room, clearly blocking an entire cabinet door and thought "Yea, that's got to go." When we moved in I thought "As soon as we get some of this other stuff done." Then...well, then we started doing laundry. And I discovered that this little awkwardly placed, ugly-as-all-get-out wire rack had a larger purpose. It wasn't just there to hold every cleaner known to man (its state when we moved in). No, its job was to hold hangers. Just above the dryer. You know, where you actually use them. And so, it's stayed. And the cupboards behind it? Totally empty. We have nothing that needs to go up there anyway.
