The hubby and I made chili tonight for my work potluck tomorrow. This is the first stove top I've ever had with a completely flat surface. I had heard that they were a pain to clean, but I adore the fact that food can't fall into the burners leaving a charred mess for you to dig out later. I'm sure the gas cooking purists will disagree, but having had standard electric burners in nearly ever rental I've lived in, this is a happy upgrade. Now if only we could make the oven as simple to clean... ; )
