Today I cleaned up my study desk and hung some optimistic art. Which is my name for inspirational art that is actually, well, inspirational instead of cheesy and full of bad clip art. Happy, upbeat, and deeply meaningful. It's why I simply had to buy this little bird and why when a friend pointed me to this poster design I promptly put myself on the mailing list to be notified when prints were made. (And then, just as promptly snatched one up when they did.) It seems fitting for a corner dedicated to continual self improvement in the form of studying (at least for the next year or so).
