Skip Day

Today's skip day is brought to you by a good cause. No, really, it actually was. You see I was up a 5 am (I am not a morning person, I even tell you this in my bio, so you know this was important) and spent roughly 9.5-10 hours organizing, answering questions, coordinating volunteers and all in all helping pull off an amazing event*.

I even got the t-shirt to prove it.



*I am involved in our local SWE (Society of Women Engineers) chapter and we were honored to be selected as one of the host sections for National SWE's WOW! That's Engineering! event. This event was the culmination of a lot of hardwork on the part of our Outreach Chair and numerous other members and volunteers. The event was a smashing success.
