Nights like this, I realize just how much the new house has become "home". Cuddling on the couch with the hubby and Jack, the scenery is already familiar and comforting. Just like the drive home has already become automatic, my internal clock adjusted to the longer commute. The way I can navigate to the bathroom in the dark, and (mostly) hit the right light switches on the first try. Already it is hard to imagine having lived anywhere else, like all the other apartments and the rental house were just far off dreams.
