When we first were looking at the house and we came to the window in this room (now my soon to be craft room) I swear my first thought was "Alright, no teenagers in here." When I mentioned that to some friends in July, I completely confused one. Do you see the issue? If you guess easy roof access you would be right! It's not just that they could sneak out (which they could) but also that roofs are not play places, and this window makes it sooooooo easy to climb out and smoke, drink, or ('cause they are my kids) read books past bedtime. For that matter even little kids could see this as the ideal launching pad for their Evel Knievel careers. Since it is, unfortunately, a very promising room for future kids, we will have to settle for a very robust screen, well secured from the outside.
