I finished recovering our bench today. This bench was originally my grandmothers and came to me while I still lived at home with my parents via a garage clean out. I recovered it in red and took it with me to my first apartment. Recently, it's been pressed into service in the bathroom as a seat for morning kitty cuddles. I've recovered it with a fabric which is providing inspiration for a color scheme for the master bedroom and bath. It's a first, tiny, step towards making the bathroom ours. And it's the first time I've done any sort of upholstery without my mom around to guide me. It's a bit wonky in places but I love it.
