Day 20/365--Illuminate

I am participating in a 365 day photo project called "Around the House" for photos of the house and all things in it. Each day I take a photo of something and make a brief post here about the image.



Tonight I baked chocolate-chocolate chip cookies. It was my first time using this recipe and it needs some tweaking before I will consider it a solid one. But I greatly enjoyed having a large kitchen to spread out in. And while the cookies were baking I did something I haven't volunterarily done in a very, very long time. I handwashed dishes. Even scrubbed down a couple of my containers for sugar, since I had finished off the last of it. You can see the dishes drying in the drainer on the left.
