Day 5/365--Brilliant Light

I am attempting a 365 day photo project called "Around the House" for photos of the house and all things in it. Each day I take a photo of something and make a brief post here about the image.



I was outside taking pictures of the deck, but I couldn't resist trying to capture the amazing evening light in the yard. It's incredibly breathtaking; I feel like I live in a suburban cabin. Yesterday, our neighbor told us that she has seen deer, herons, even eagles in the woods that run behind our houses, and sometimes even on her front lawn!
