Day 13/365--Side Board

I am attempting a 365 day photo project called "Around the House" for photos of the house and all things in it. Each day I take a photo of something and make a brief post here about the image.

Day three of waiting for my charger to arrive. I am rather unamused as I paid for 1-3 day shipping. Tracking shows that it shipped two days ago and nothing since. Boo. IN the meantime, here is today's edition of house history, featuring the side board that the prior owner built in. (With lovely cabinets to hold serving things!)

I adore our little side board. The storage. The way it creates a nooky space for the eating area. The way that we can use it to hold miscellanious stuff, including (should we have enough people over to warrant it) food.
