Moving

Well, it looks like we have hammered out the dates for our trip:

Tomorrow: A good friend of our flies in to see us before we go and help us with the packing. She will be here until Monday.

Monday: See our friend off and pack the last bits (hopefully).

Tuesday: Load up our car, pitch all remaining perishable food.

Wednesday: Supervise the loading of all our earthly goods onto the moving truck. (Including at our second stop). Hand over our keys and remaining rent for April. Spend the night on my parent's floor.

Thursday: Begin our drive to Alabama. We are due to arrive there on April 11th.

Then we just wait for the moving truck to show up with our stuff--in the meantime buying a mattress, a washer, some kitchen chairs, and perishable food. Then we unpack and unpack and unpack and then I start work. Whew!

The upshot of all this is that I will not be posting anything to the store until after we are there and settled a bit. I may or may not have the time/internet access to update this blog before mid April either.
