Act of Kindness and a Photo Realization

Today, I listed up another Act of Kindness thank you card in the shop. This one features a pink flower. The paper used for the flower has several shades of pink "sponged" together which results in a pink with a lot of depth.



Also, yesterday I asked for some help with my photos on the etsy forums. I have been steadily improving them since I first opened shop (oh my first pictures, oy) but I had been increasingly unhappy with how "dull" my pictures appeared. At the recommendation of several people, I tried playing with the Exposure settings on my camera. WOW! What a difference! I will be slowly going back and changing all my photos to new ones taken at the appropriate exposure setting. Below is a gradient I made with a sample card, showing the various + exposure settings.
