I'm Back!

After a nice long nap yesterday, I spent some time playing with my new stamps and completing the custom request I had received while out of town. The first picture below is the set of cards for the custom request--three cards with the Satchel Paige quote "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?" stamped below the flowers.

The second image shows a set of thank you cards that went up in the shop today. Each card has a different design. One card reads "No act of kindness no matter how small, is ever wasted.", the second (one of my newest stamps) says "gratitude is the heart's memory", and the final card is one of the blossoming thank you cards with the writing hidden in the stem of the flower. I am happy to have put together an entire set of thank you cards without having them scream "thank you".

The final image shows another of the new stamps; this one reads "When we are not in love too much, we are not in love enough. Busso Rabutin". I consider this to be a valentine card for those of us that don't particularly like Valentines Day. (Personally I think the holiday was marketing genius but overlooks the fact that genuine acts of love are not done out of obligation. My husband and I skip it altogether, preferring to celebrate our anniversary 5 days later.) So, for those looking for Valentine's Day cards, this would work quite nicely. For those (like me) who flatly ignore the Valentine's Day hype it is a beautiful little card to give just because. I enjoy that balance.

I have a TON of cards to list and I made headway on photographing some of them today. I expect to list two or three a day to help clear up the back-log of cards I have sitting here pining away for new homes. : )
