Frombelgiumwithlove is an etsyian with a distinct color palette and a penchant for felt and cute monsters. Entering her store is like going on a treasure hunt. You never know what she will list next, only that there is a strong chance you will fall madly in love. The designs are consistent enough for frombelgiumwithlove to have an identified style and spontaneous enough for you to be surprised and delighted by the new listings. Her bright, cheerful colors feel uplifting and energizing without being annoyingly perky or trite. The use of felt makes everything irresistibly tactile--you want to pet everything in the shop!
The pictures below show two of her current items. (Click on the images to vist her shop.)The one on the left is a monster credit card holder. Frombelgiumwithlove has a whole line of these little cuties having done pins, brooches, luggage tags, and bookmarks with them in the past. No matter what their current form, they are always delightful and highly adoptable. This particular guy is happy to hold up to 12 credit cards and keep you company on the go.
The image on the right shows her turquoise bird photo album. In keeping with the shop's style, it is done in turquoise felt and the birds are drawn in a simplified, stylized manner. There is even a single bird adorning the back cover. This ablum is quite simply wonderful. Instead of having to hide the unvariably hideous cover of a store bought photo album, this one could be proudly displayed as a piece of art in it's own right.
